..::NOUN PROBATION IS REAL
National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) has now restricted all current course semester registrations for any student who finds his/herself on academic probation for a long period. Any student who had find his/herself in this condition/situation, can only register their carry-over courses and remaining elective courses from his/her previous semesters.
Note, this carry -overs and the electives you had registered must be passed with absolutely GOOD grades( I'm talking about A & B grades. Do away with C, D, E & F grades because it's of no use to you). This Good grades will help to boost your CPGA from PROBATION to the nearest academic grade. It's not easy but Almighty God will make it easier for you and me.
Academic probation
The first two times your grades fall below 2.0, you receive an Academic Warning. The next time it happens, you are on Academic Probation. If you fail again to make a GPA of at least 2.0, you are on Academic Suspension.
If you find yourself on academic probation, you're not alone. About 20% of students who attend a four/five-year course will be on academic probation at some point.
Academic probation is a temporary, 12-month status. When you are on probation you must achieve an average of at least 60%, with no failures, on all courses taken during the probation period.
